Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Leniverse procedural universe exploration engine, web applications, multiplayer interactive spaces, APIs, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using Leniverse, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance & Eligibility
By accessing Leniverse, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age (or the legal age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an entity or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Leniverse is a real-time 3D procedural cosmos simulation that empowers users to explore procedural galaxies, solar systems, exoplanet terrains, star search indices, and shared multiplayer cosmic rooms.
We continuously evolve the simulation engine. We reserve the right to modify, enhance, update, or discontinue features, procedural generation algorithms, shader parameters, or service components at any time without prior liability.
3. User Accounts & Security
To access personalized capabilities such as saving custom celestial coordinates, presets, and multiplayer profiles, you may register an account via Google, Apple, or email authentication.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach involving your account.
- Leniverse is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
4. Acceptable Use & Conduct
When utilizing Leniverse, you agree not to engage in any prohibited activities, including but not limited to:
- Disruptive Automation & Scraping: Overloading, flood-querying, scraping, or sending automated requests to our servers, WebSocket endpoints, or APIs beyond intended interactive usage limits.
- Exploits & Reverse Engineering: Attempting to decompile, bypass security filters, exploit shader pipelines, or disrupt real-time multiplayer server rooms.
- Harmful or Harassing Conduct: Transmitting offensive, hateful, abusive, or infringing content in multiplayer room chats, custom system naming, or avatar configurations.
- Impersonation & Fraud: Falsely representing affiliation with Leniverse administrators or other explorers.
- Commercial Resale: Reselling, sublicensing, or packaging access to the raw Leniverse platform or proprietary procedural shaders without express written permission.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
A. Platform Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to Leniverse—including proprietary 3D shaders, procedural generation mathematics, noise algorithms, rendering engines, user interfaces, branding, audio assets, and documentation—remain the exclusive property of Leniverse and its licensors.
B. User Creations & Presets
You retain ownership of the custom parameters, planet notes, and creative designations you author. By submitting or sharing planet presets or custom star coordinates publicly within the platform, you grant Leniverse a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and render your creations across the cosmic index.
6. Hardware Performance & Graphics Requirements
Leniverse utilizes advanced 3D WebGL / WebGPU graphics shaders, dynamic atmospheric scattering, and procedural terrain tessellation. Performance varies depending on your device's GPU, browser version, and system resources. Leniverse makes no guarantee that the simulation will achieve specific framerates on all hardware configurations.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, LENIVERSE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LENIVERSE, ITS FOUNDERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR HARDWARE RECOVERY COSTS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, harms other explorers, or compromises the security of the Leniverse infrastructure. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to modern internet software services, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith mutual negotiations or binding arbitration as permitted by law.
11. Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Any changes will become effective upon posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of Leniverse following the posting of revised Terms signifies your acceptance of the changes.
